Domestic Shipwrecks
This work stages the enormity of a catastrophe compressed into a domestic space, creating a surreal gap between disaster and everyday life.
The dramas that seem to make us sink are in fact small inner storms, shipwrecks on the open sea experienced as if we were drowning.
The illustration received an Honorable Mention in the 3x3 International Illustration Annual No.19, published by 3x3, The Magazine of Contemporary Illustration.
